Healing grows through safe, supportive relationships.

Hi, I’m Caitlyn, but you can call me Cait.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and owner of Inner Illumination Therapy and Wellness, LLC.

I have specialized training in EMDR therapy and am passionate about helping women reconnect with themselves and trust their own inner knowing.

You're the one everyone leans on... but lately, you're not sure who you can lean on. You've gotten really good at keeping the peace. It's just costing you your own.

Life feels heavier than it used to. Maybe you're emotionally overwhelmed more easily. You constantly second-guess yourself, or you don't feel like the person you used to be. A relationship changed. A loss shifted something. Or maybe you've simply reached a point where you're asking yourself, "How did I get here?"

Many of my clients grew up feeling responsible for keeping the family functioning. Some were praised for being the "good" child until they started having needs of their own. Others learned to stay small, stay helpful, or stay quiet to maintain connection. Those patterns developed for a reason. They helped you adapt to what life asked of you, but today they may leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, and unsure whether you can trust your own instincts.

Work with Cait

Many of my clients grew up feeling responsible for keeping the family functioning. Some were praised for being the "good" child until they started having needs of their own. Others learned to stay small, stay helpful, or stay quiet to maintain connection. Those patterns developed for a reason. They helped you adapt to what life asked of you, but today they may leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, and unsure whether you can trust your own instincts.

I use a blend of EMDR, parts work, nervous system regulation, and cognitive therapy. We'll explore the beliefs you've carried, the protective parts that stepped in when you needed them most, and the nervous system patterns that continue to shape your life today.

Together, we'll make sense of the experiences you've lived, reprocess the memories that continue to affect you, and reconstruct new belief systems. As you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen trust in your own inner knowing and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

Grounded, intuitive, and collaborative. Healing isn't about pretending everything is love & light. It's about helping you reconnect with yourself so you can meet life's challenges with greater peace, resilience, and self-trust.

Cait's Approach

Therapy is not just a profession—it’s a calling.

Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, (LAPC)

When someone pulls away, it can feel like your whole world shifts. You find yourself caught between wanting someone close and wanting to push them away before they can hurt you.

You may feel incomplete, wondering why you always fall into the same patterns, and feel trapped and defined by your past.

Or perhaps you're carrying a loss that has changed you, leaving you unsure of how to move forward. I'm also passionate about supporting those navigating grief and bereavement, creating space to honor what's been lost while helping you find your footing again.

Work with Jessica

Warm, collaborative, and grounded. Jess integrates insight-oriented therapy, somatic practices, EMDR, and DBT-informed techniques to help clients process trauma, regulate emotions, and reconnect with themselves.

Jess's approach

I believe our minds and bodies adapt for a reason. The ways we protect ourselves often developed in response to experiences that once helped us survive.

My approach focuses on helping you understand the deeper patterns beneath your struggles while also giving you practical tools to create meaningful change. I integrate EMDR to help reprocess trauma and draw from DBT-informed therapy to build emotional regulation, mindfulness, and healthier communication skills.

Together, we’ll explore the experiences that shaped you, bring compassion to the ways you learned to protect yourself, and create space for meaningful change.

You do not have to be defined by your diagnosis, your past, or your pain.
