I am the owner of Inner Illumination Therapy and Counseling, LLC. 

I am a master’s-level therapist, licensed as an LPC, with specialized training in EMDR therapy to support clients in processing trauma and fostering healing.

Therapy is not just a profession—it’s a calling.

If you’re someone who’s always been “the strong one,” the caretaker, or the one holding it all together — I see you. You’ve carried so much for others, but now you’re ready to find more for you.

I specialize in helping women heal from trauma, whether it’s from childhood, family dynamics, or painful relationships. Many of the women I work with grew up with emotionally immature or emotionally unavailable parents and learned early on to take care of everyone else. They often became the parentified child, the scapegoat, or the peacemaker, and now they’re ready to break those patterns and reconnect with their true self.

In our sessions, I use IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR therapy to gently explore what’s coming up in the present and how your past experiences and belief systems might still be influencing your life today. I may also incorporate tarot as a creative way to tap into your intuition and bypass the overthinking “monkey mind.”

My clients are usually highly sensitive or intuitive women (sometimes called HSPs) who feel energy deeply and have a strong inner knowing that’s often overshadowed by anxiety, stress, or fear. 

My approach isn’t about pretending everything is light and love, it’s about building the resilience and capacity to face life’s challenges with more peace, strength, and self-trust. 

Healing isn’t about avoiding the darkness; it’s about learning to move through it with compassion and awareness.

I am a licensed professional therapist (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with specialized training in trauma assessment, treatment, and evidence-based interventions.

I work with clients who feel exhausted yet constantly on alert—ready to go one day and completely paralyzed the next. If you experience being deeply attuned to others’ needs while struggling to make space for your own, you’re not alone. The negative self-talk can be loud, and depression can settle in heavy, leaving you feeling invisible. Clients I work with often carry the impact of past experiences that still echo in their relationships or work. You may long for stability and connections that feel genuine and safe. Maybe you’ve always been the intuitive one—sensing the tension, keeping the peace, or becoming the scapegoat, the odd one out, or the forgotten.

I blend practical, evidence-based tools with a deeper understanding of how your past shapes the way you feel and react today. We’ll look at the patterns you’ve learned over time and explore new, healthier ways of responding. I also use mindfulness-based practices to help you slow down, feel more grounded, and learn how to regulate your body and nervous system so you can move through life feeling less activated.

Together, we’ll help you find more balance so you can move through life with clarity and ease.
